Summer Workout Ideas

With this new weather and summer right upon us I wanted to find some fun workout ideas! Certainly a run through University Circle or biking is a great way to exercise and enjoy the nice Cleveland weather 🙂  But I wanted some more unique ideas! Swimming is a great way to get healthy while having fun-it provides a cardio workout and tones muscles while reducing the risk of injury. And it’s nice to cool down on a hot day! Beach volleyball is also a really fun way to burn calories while getting tan! But always be sure to keep hydrated, especially if it’s hot. Some other summer workout ideas include:

  • Rollerblading
  • Frisbee
  • Going for a walk on a summer night
  • Kayaking/canoeing

So make a pumped-up summer playlist and go have fun while being healthy!
